Refund Policy

1. Summary
mergedocx is a subscription software service. We want you to only pay for value you actually receive. If you have not yet used the merge allowance in a billing period, we will refund that period in full; if you have used part of it, we offer a pro-rated refund of the unused portion. Details below.
2. Free tier
The free tier is free — there is nothing to refund. You can stop using it at any time.
3. Unused billing period — full refund
If you request a refund within 14 days of a payment and you have made no successful merges (no billable POST /v1/merge calls) during that billing period, we will refund that payment in full.
4. Partially used period — pro-rated refund
If you have used part of your allowance and wish to cancel mid-cycle, you can request a pro-rated refund of the unused portion of the current billing period, calculated by the remaining days in the cycle. Amounts already consumed (merges performed) are non-refundable.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future automatic renewals; unless you also request a pro-rated refund under section 4, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
6. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the email address on your account and the charge in question. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy; approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Lemon Squeezy, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
7. Exceptions
We may decline refunds in cases of abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory refund rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
